Community Guidelines

BushNav's reviews, photos, condition reports and place suggestions are only useful if people can trust them. These guidelines explain what we expect when you contribute — they're enforced under our Terms of Service.
Be respectful
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeting other users or landowners. Disagree with a review if you like — just keep it civil.
Be honest
Don't post fake reviews, ratings for places you haven't been, or condition reports for tracks or crossings you haven't actually checked. If you say a crossing is fine when you're not sure, someone might act on that in a place where being wrong is dangerous — see our Safety Disclaimer. If conditions were marginal, say so.
No defamation or false claims
Don't post content that's defamatory, or that makes false claims about a person, business or place.
Photos must be yours
Only upload photos you took yourself or otherwise have the right to share. Don't upload photos containing identifiable people without their consent.
No spam or commercial promotion
Reviews, POI descriptions and condition reports are for genuine information about places and tracks — not for advertising a business, service, or unrelated content.
Keep it legal and safe
Don't post content that encourages illegal activity, trespassing, or reckless and unsafe driving.
What happens if you break these rules
Depending on the severity, we may remove the content, warn you, or suspend or terminate your account, as set out in our Terms of Service. If you see content that breaches these guidelines, let us know at hello@bushnav.app.
